Welcome to the revised FreeLegalAdvice website. The site remains faithful to the original concepts of allowing access to the law without the initial cost and commitment of consulting a solicitor. Some parts of the site are still under construction, and may change without warning.

FreeLegalAdvice is a service that provides lay people with the answers to their legal queries. For many people, a visit to the solicitors costs money and time that they can ill afford. To do this and then discover that they do not have a legal remedy to their problem is infuriating and time wasting. Conversly, many people simply do not bother to find out if the law can assist them because of the cost of visiting a lawyer. FreeLegalAdvice fills the gap between discovering if you might have a case and seeing a lawyer. It is not a substitute for legal representation and does not carry any guarantee or liability for loss or damage caused as a result of relying on advice here given. Further, the site is aimed at individuals with grievances against a third party. It is not intended to be used for commercial purposes.

The service is unique in it provides no obligation on its customers, and by using an alias name, they are able to remain entirely anonymous. Of course, all information submitted will be treated with the utmost care and confidentiality.

There is no charge for the use of this service!

Can you afford not to find out if YOU have a legal remedy to a problem! You might be entitled to compensation!

To use FreeLegalAdvice, simply complete the form giving details of your problem. This query will be examined by a FreeLegalAdvice employee, qualified to at least degree level in the law of England. A reply will then be sent to you by email stating whether there exists a legal remedy to your problem. If possible, the footer of the email, will provide details of the nearest solicitors that specialise in that area of law in your area. (Please note, that at present this service only applies to users in the Leicestershire and Warwickshire area)

What law is covered by Free Legal Advice?

Legal rules are distinct around the world. As well as differing systems, such as common law and civil law, countries also legislate and provide their law in many different ways. There are of course common threads that bind the laws of the world, for instance each country will has some form of a law regarding murder, yet beyond this basic commonality, law varies a grat deal. Therefore it is not possible, (yet!) to offer this service as a global one, and the advice offered applies only to the law of England and Wales. Apologies if you have accessed this site from another jurisdiction.

FreeLegalAdvice has already provided legal information regarding a wide range of queries, ranging from advice relating to criminal offences, to property law and divorce. The graph below illustrates the nature of queries to FreeLegalAdvice.
